Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club

Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club

Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club is a friendly sailing club located at the mouth of the River Deben. We meet regularly for races, as well as for less formal sailing.

Facilities

Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club is run by its members for its members. The superb clubhouse provides changing rooms with showers and toilets, as well as a social area. The clubhouse has both a bar and galley, may be hired by members and provides a venue for many social events throughout the year.

Rescue cover is provided during all club races, but not at other times.

All club members are assigned occasional duties during the season. As well as helping to keep membership fees down, this is an excellent way to learn more about racing.

Felixstowe Ferry sailing Club has over 35 years experience in hosting major sailing events from open meetings and qualifiers through to national and world championships. If you would like the club to host your event please contact us by email at FFSC Sailing Events.

FFSC uses Sailwave to produce all it's open meeting and major event results.

The club's elderly rescue craft 'Rubber Duck' (see photo above) has recently been replaced by a brand new RIB 'Mocara' (see photo below).
